Viewing & Access FAQ

Have questions about how to watch BALANCE?
We’ve gathered answers to the most common questions about viewing options, access, pricing, and availability, so you know exactly what to expect as the series launches.

I already have Amazon Prime or Apple TV+. Why do I still need to rent or buy the series?
O
P

This is a great and very common question.
While BALANCE is available on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV, it is released as a premium on-demand title, not included in subscription libraries.

Subscriptions give you access to content those platforms license or produce. Independent films and docuseries like BALANCE are released through the storefront, meaning they require a one-time rent or purchase.

This model allows independent filmmakers to:

  • Maintain creative independence
  • Fund impact, education, and global access
  • Ensure the series can continue reaching women worldwide

Your rental or purchase directly supports the life of this project and its mission.

I have Apple TV, but I can’t find the series. Where is it?
O
P

On Apple TV, it’s easy to miss because of how the app is structured.

Here’s how to find it:

  1. Open the Apple TV app
  2. Go to the Store tab (not “Watch Now”)
  3. Search for BALANCE: A Perimenopause Journey

If you’re searching only within the subscription feed, it may not appear.

Why isn’t this information available for free? Shouldn’t everyone have access to it?
O
P

We believe deeply that everyone deserves access to accurate, compassionate information about perimenopause.

BALANCE was produced by Siddhayatan Tirth Productions, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit production organization, and was created independently with the support of private foundations and individual donors — not a studio, network, or pharmaceutical company.

Because of this, the current paid release helps us:

  • Cover the significant costs of producing and distributing the series
  • Sustain the nonprofit work behind the project
  • Fund free and low-cost community screenings
  • Bring BALANCE into schools, workplaces, and underserved communities

This release allows the series to exist, grow, and reach further.

It is one step in a larger access and impact plan — not the final destination.

I have Apple TV or Amazon Prime in my country, but I still can’t find it. Why?
O
P

Availability varies by country due to platform licensing rules.

  • U.S., UK, Canada, Australia: Available on Apple TV
  • U.S., UK: Available on Amazon Prime
  • All other countries: Available globally via Vimeo, our international screening platform

If it’s not appearing in your local store, it doesn’t mean it isn’t available — it just means it’s hosted on a different platform for your region.
